New Player
Just saw these on Ebay, haven't seen these before, maybe a new player in the ZR-1 header market? Anyone heard of these? Wonder how the fit is?

Re: New Player
Those look exactly like obx headers. Looks like they are being marketed with a different name and price markup to match.
*edit* After taking a second look they are the same. Either that or they get the header gaskets and header design from the same supplier. Even has the same fake catalytic converters and extension pieces.

Re: New Player
Considering that they describe the stock maniflod as-RESTRICTIVE CAST LOG MAINFOLDS-would tell me they arent the company making these. If they were they would know exactly whats in the car stock.

Re: New Player
I would doubt the eBay seller ever touches the product. It's likely a drop-ship from "somewhere". Send the eBay seller a question asking for a local pick-up and see what's mentioned in their response.

Re: New Player
Oh yeah, these are OBX all the way. Only difference is the finish, as OBX are made with highly polished stainless steel and these clearly are not. Maximizer also knocks off the OBX exhaust, and you can find that item on eBay too. Again, only difference is the finish. The Maximizer exhaust is all black except for the tips, which are polished. If anybody is good with the OBX exhaust but doesn't want polished pipe under the car for some reason, it might be a good option.

Re: New Player
So, for the limited number of engines out there, how many header manufacturers do we need?

Re: New Player
Need enough for all the people that buy but never install.
You know, for the gearheads who buy all the parts for the car that they are going to buy!!!!! |
