-=JEFF=-,

I think that one for the 90-93 looks awesome in that custom original style from Europe. I think this is really one of those "Different Strokes for Different Folks" and we all have our own tastes and preference is all. I respect everyone's choice and decision and just feel that the OEM is a tad too big for me. Another thing to consider is calling Jason Howard at Crowder's about the short hub adapter. If you notice the depth of the OEM wheel you want to measure where you want your wheel to end up and with my NRG quick release and NRG short hub, plus the wheel, it is perfect where I want it. All of this is related to arm length, seating position, legs, etc. so each of us is different. You can make the measurements and calculate it with the specs from the pieces. Jason is very knowledgeable with what works with what and I went with NRG because you can bolt any brand wheel to it. I might buy another one later to change up the look and feel later. When I go to the next Tokyo Auto Salon, I will get another very nice wheel that I should have bought this year that was cheap for shipping the car (just in case it gets stolen once arrives out of the container in Hawaii). Another plus with quick release is the locking feature to the hub and another theft deterrent when there is no way to drive the car.

Thanks
-=JEFF=-,

In lieu of some pictures, this might give you an idea of an aftermarket steering wheel in our cars; this Sparco is a little bit smaller and it kind of tell what is needed to do the install:

thanks craig.. do you have the 350mm or 330mm? I measured my wheel, if I measure center to center of the wheel it is about 350mm. have you put your wheel up to OEM? it is smaller?

I remember some years ago I swapped a OEM wheel in my S10 for a Grant wheel, it was smaller but worked out well

Jeff,

It is a 350mm as ordered, but does not measure that to me. Disregard the hub adapter only showing to 1983 (not correct). I measured in inches and definitely smaller than OEM. My OEM does have a wheel skin on it as your does, I believe and that adds a little. I will take a picture later with the 350mm Momo as advertised on top of the OEM so you can see the difference.

Momo has some new wheels since. Did you see the Momo Commando in Red?

http://www.momousa.com/tuning/steeri...mando-red.html

If you are looking for two tone they also have the Millenium, Devil, or Drifting in Red that is a little more subtle that you or Ricky might like. I really like the Millenium with a touch of red piping.

Here is what I ordered and prices with free shipping.

-=JEFF=-,

I'll try to get the comparison photo tomorrow after work. I got home too late tonight.

Jeff,

Here are some photos, but a bit difficult to take at these angles.

After taking more time to measure, I stand corrected and Momo specs are on the money at 350mm or 13.78 inch. I can't tell exactly what stock is with the wheel skin on and pretty thick. I would have to guess that there is about a 1" difference in overall diameter. It does not seem much, but I would not want to go smaller like someone else mention, or 330mm would be absolute minimum for me. I like this feel myself and I think I remember thinking a 330 is too small. The best is if you can drive a car that has a smaller wheel to see how you like it as I was able to. I really was sold on the quick release for sure and ease of getting in and out as well as the anti-theft factor. Sorry, I can't promise when I will have time to do the install, but will document and post it when I do.

The more I look at this one, I might buy it and sell my Competition or keep both to swap out easily:

I hear you. Choosing the right steering wheel is almost as difficult as selecting the right wheels for the car.

Im leaning towards this one also Craig, from when you sent me the link. Im thinking of painting the bright work flat or satin black as well as have Carter make me a new center horn with the his ZR-1 emblem engraved into it. Im going with the same NRG short hub and quick disconnect as you
