Re: Thanks for the inspiration.
I agree.
This is a a wonderful place to learn about a wonderful car. It gave me the confidence to buy one, and feel secure that I would never be stuck. The knowledge everyone shares here is phenomenal. I have never seen a group of owners share parts, expertise, successes, stories and miseries, with the spirit shown her. I bow to you all. I can not match the knowledge of some, but don't mind chiming in. |

Powershiftin'
I apologize for hijacking the thread. I agree about the quality of the people and of the information and everyone's willingness to help.
Now, back to powershifting....I had a '68 Chevelle coupe, Grecian Green, with vinyl interior, bench seat, the 325hp/350fp (same package rated 350hp in vettes) with 4-speed, 4:11 gear, and factory air shocks. The factory air shocks were filled through a fiting behind the license plate. I used to powershift the sh*# out of that car. My cousin had a new '68 427 Vette, and that little Chevelle would flat whip that Vette, up to 100 mph, which it attained in a hurry. I wish I still had that little Chevelle... |
