I don't think the rear of the C7 is ugly, it's just not Corvette.

I stll believe it has captured enough of previous Corvettes to make it undeniably a Corvette. Certainley the new interior is a vast improvement over the C5 & C6. I appreciate you posting the pic. I just cannot wait to see a C7 in person. Each time I see it from a different angle I like it more & more.
The 599 is one of my favorite new cars, I do like the C7 in her current configuration rear lights and all.

Yun, I think the Higher HP version wont be out until the 2016 model year.

I am not a fan of the one in the OP, but this one looks much more traditional and appealing.

Better but too much like a C6. Not evolutionary enough.

Yeah, I just read that Corvette engineers are reportedly working on a low cost C7 for 2015 that will be powered by a version of the all alluminum, direct injection 5.3L V-8 that will debut in the new trucks. It will be sold only as a hardtop and badged Corvette Coupe, will have less than 400hp, and changes to the front facia, front fender, and rear diffuser to visually differentiate it from the Stingray. So, the Stingray is the base Corvette for now but that will change.

Less than 400hp? Sheesh. Might as well drop a V6 in it.
