I put an LT5 motor into a '67 Camaro with a 700r4 transmission. Mark at Street and Performance made the flex plate for me. www.lateral-g.net/members/mitchell

I don't see why we need to promote other companies that have nothing to do with our LT5 or ZR-1's most of these companies would not even look our way.
We have all the telant/parts from our very own ZR-1 supporting members. I can't think of one part that we can't get or make from our very own ZR-1 Registry members. If our own group has it why go outside of it. Support your local business Just saying. Pete P.S. Thank You Schrade . . . . . . . . .

Pete, you are right. However I failed to state when I made this conversion. It was at least 10 years ago when nobody I could find was putting an automatic trans. behind the LT5. I wish I new of you back then because I went through hxxx trying to make it work. Still having trouble with the TV cable system. Can you help me with that?

Like they say, if you're stupid, you better be rich. I ain't exactly rich, but I'm the BEST learner... And I know now where to get info and do business. Hopefully, I've lost only some time here, on getting my own conversion done... And thank YOU there PETE, and M Haibeck too... Do you race there PMitchell? Or just a regular driver, with occasioanl 'hammer down'? How well does it drive for ya' there, besides the throttle cable link? Last edited by Schrade; 12-16-2012 at 02:21 PM. |

The car will be for the show circuit for the 1st year and then onto the autocross. It's not 100% done yet so the only driving that has been done is up and down my 300' driveway. |

Why reinvent the wheel (conversion) here is a link you might be interested in. Give him a call, he can do the conversion for you it you need. He now campaigns a real hot Chev II.
