Default Bonneville ZR-1

In the Collectors Edition of Hotrod there is mention of a ZR-1 that tops out in the high 220mph range. "What makes it unusual is that it's a ZR1 with the original Lotus LT5 V8". The article is titled "Salt 101".

The gentleman's name is Dave Hlebichuk and he races the ZR-1 in the Grand Touring Sport class. The car is black and looks weird with its wide rear with tires that look like they are 4" wide.

Anyone know him or the car?

peace

I have not met Dave , but his effort for the Children's Hospital is very impressive indeed.Dave teamed up with Corey Henderson to create that monster. Keep an eye on them for this year's running at Bonneville.

Corey gave me a piston out of that car when I took my car down to him last month. Kind of a neat garage item.
