Re: What wheel do I have?
When that time comes ask me if I still have my spare set complete with sensors and original rubber. (for show)

I actually believe a "wanted to buy" both here and the other forums would surface one and I mentioned that! I would think quickly and inexpensively! |

I just thought he'd be totally wasting his time with Detroit Wheel when a reputable forum member has a set of rears posted for sale right here. And I agree the WTB thread is a good option, but a reality here is that most of us will opt not to sell just one rear wheel - a guy can just about count on having to buy a set, when he can find one. |

Re: What wheel do I have?
Guys, thanks again for your helpful suggestions.
I know I can pick up a set of correct rear wheels, but I don't want to "ruin" them by getting them chromed, nor do I need two (and having to get them chromed will add to the cost for me). I was going to go through the aftermarket because it would be cheaper for me now and they will sell just 1 wheel. I'll post up a WTB thread and see what happens. I'll also call each seller I can find and see if I can locate something that will work. |

Thanks WV, someone at Jegs took the time to contact Detroit Wheel and the depth of the lug area matches my "good" one. I've ordered one and I'll see how well it matches. |

Re: What wheel do I have?
Yet another update ...
The wheel arrived, and it isn't close. The lug area is "shallower" on this rear than on my front front wheels. I'll be returning the wheel. For future reference the Detroit Wheel "ZR-1s" aren't deep lug - not by a long shot. |

Hard to believe that someone couldn't measure! Do you still have the wheel and is it at least a 36mm offset? Back-spacing would be something near 7.4". I mention this because perhaps a different wheel was pulled from stock and shipped by Detroit. Your wheel was purchased from the same person that had the stock checked? |

I'm not sure what the Jegs rep was thinking ... there's a big difference between 1" and 2.75" |
