Default tire value???

Any thoughts what the original set of tires for my '91 (1544) should get? Fronts have 7/32, rears 6. Even tread wear. No patches or plugs or fading/cracking. Had 14k miles when replaced. Co-worker would like to smoke them off on his 'stang but will only pay 100. Thanks for your input. Good luck with your election.

Well, if you hold on to them for long enough, I'm sure someone doing NCRS restoration would be interested. But, is it worth holding on to for x amount of years? If you have the space and can keep them from dry-rotting, I would hang on to them. If not, post them up for sale (here and on other sites, like Ebay), ask to make an offer, and see what you get. If no bites, then just get the quick $100 for them.

I sold my original Gatorbacks with 3k miles 2 years ago for $200. Didn't want them sitting around taking up garage space, but now I regret not keeping them for originality sake.

Good luck selling them, I tried to give mine away. No takers. They're still in my barn.

Ha ha ha, I still have a full set too. Not safe for the road but may have value someday for NCRS. Meanwhile it takes more effort to haul them away than it's worth so they sit.
