That's a decent price on an LT5 clutch kit.

Question:

Do clutch kits from a standard corvette work with a ZR-1? (I thought they were different?)

The kit say's it works on the standard corvette and ZR-1.

Need to use shorter pressure plate bolts if you want the car to move after the install. Don't ask.

I would assume so, althought the transmissions were different so some investigation would be in order if someone were to order one. Might call Marc to verify.

Only the input shaft is different on the ZF6 for the ZR-1

Pros:
All parts will work pressure plate, throw out bearing, clutch disc etc, of the same model year 1990-1992 and 1993-1995

Cons:
You need the LT1 pressure plate screws i have the GM part # just not at this moment.
The pressure plates friction plate (not clutch disc) is thinner then the LT5 friction plate.

I have installed these and they drive normal but if your going to do some heavy duty racing i would think the thinner friction plate might build more heat then the LT5 thicker plate.

Otherwise good to go.

I can rebuild the stock LT5 pressure plates.
Do not throw them out.

Pete

I have a small stack of used pressure plates in my garage if you ever need cores.
