Also:
Dewey's 93 ZR-1 = 170
Dewey's ZO7 = 178
Bob's 95 ZR-1 = 181

I drove all those cars at the Texas Flying Mile a couple of months ago. Old #364 would have done a little over 170 on engine in flying mile based on my experience with the above mentioned cars.

I only got to drive mine for a month and a half and i believe the top speed was 151mph. #2910 sat for four years so I still need some time before really opening her up.

make sure you have some good fresh tires before going balls out.

the factory low tire pressure sensor system has a nasty habbit of unassing at speed too which can be very disconcerting. the plastic ears bust off and they rattle around and shake your gizzard out. mine are gone and I don't miss em a bit.

at 180, bad things can happen very fast. make sure you do any top end bombs in a safe venue. we want you around to enjoy lots of miles.

lba 180, but it can be cut short there as well. as for me, 154 in the LSV, it was plenty considering how fast I got there.

once I saw 70 backwards in the 90 DRM, that seemed pretty quick too!!! :!:

I have gone 162mph, However a couple of month ago, I was running at 120mph, letting off, down around between 110mph, the front tire blew out... coasted to a stop with only bending the rim...Tire was new only around 2000 miles on it. Needless to say, I am no gun shy of going that fast again... I was very lucky not to have done more damage...

I took the tire in to find out why it blew, no holes,, I was told the tire was under inflated... I was running at 30psi, I was told I should of been running at 40psi..Still hard to believe 10psi would of made much of a differance.. Oh well, live and learn...an expensive lesson on my part.

Hello, and welcome to the forum.

You are very lucky to have survived a tire failure going at those speeds. That said, I would question the explanation you were given as to why the tire failed.
