Motor looks unreal!!! Looks like paint and not powdercoat!

Any trick to that?

I'd say it is all in the prep work performed. That engine has come a long way since Phil stole, I mean bought her in Mass. She is goin to be a great addition to the WAZOO stable.

As Ricky said the prep work had a lot to do with how the final appearence turned out. The qualities of Drylac Anodized Silver PC material and Greg's expertise were also factors.

Looks terrific Phil. But I'll bet it doesn't have that "golden glow" that you see in the pix in real life. Did you shoot it under warm tungsten light? Try a couple of shots with a white card or paper in the shot and the auto white balance will bring it back to what the true color is.

Nothing trick just fluorescent pool table lights and camera flash.
Your are way above me when it comes to how to shoot these kind of photos.
I just put it on auto and snap away.
