I was primarilly thinking in terms of finish.


I would ask a question. I think that the intake tract gets more heat thru conduction? If that is the case then interrupting the conduction pathway would be needed besides any coatings to stop absorption via radiated heat source, no?

I would assume you'd want to coat the interior of the plenum, runners and injector housings to minimize heat transfer to the incoming air charge. Don't know how much or if that would be worth anything
