Default Over filled question

I over filled the engine oil to the point were it id 1/16" above the last "L" were it is stamped full on the dip stick. Also the car had sat more than 12hr sense It has been run last. Do I need to put a small tube and siphon it the excess out??

Dave

Dave, you don't have to drain off that small amount. In the ZR-1 owner's manual they tell you to go over a bit if you are doing a HPDE track session.

1/2 qt extra...I'd be tempted to drive it since the LT5 tends to use a little oil under hard use or long trips.
