Thanks guys. I really did have a blast with the car. And you know it got a LOT of looks. I'm not sure most folks have any idea what it is, really, but they see a clean "classic" Vette and like what they see for the most part.

I've really been inspired by what I've read on this board in terms of guys restoring, keeping, DRIVING, customizing and generally enjoying their ZR-1's. It can get a little tough to resist the temptation to "keep it perfect", but the joy you get from driving it just overpowers the rest.

My wife isn't one to complain about the ticket. That was my first in many years and truth be told, she was doing well past 90 herself when I was over there wretching in the right seat. :O I just happened to get caught and she didn't. LOL
