Re: going to respray....what paint?
Hi Phrogs
no gel coat...learn something new every day about the beast...my base is straight enough...one or two particular stress point cracks but fixable...l was thinking it may have to be WB water based paint due to our legislation ...though 'illegal' paints can still be acquired if you know who to ask (lol....sounding like a drug deal)....but if WB can adhere to anything that is 'likely' to be on the zed then l may as well go with it if its readily available....my son normally works with WB at his place so if thats the deal then he can do it.....I only hope it can be finished up glass smooth but from what lve seen that get knocked out of the shop my son works at then lm only 75% impresed....but the work his shop does is mainly insurance claim work and an ultimate finish isnt what they do....my son knows this is no insurance job....so hope WB can deliver the goods...l will research some more |

Re: going to respray....what paint?
As far as I have heard because im not sure yet I think you need to strip it down to use WB on your older paint.
A buddy of mine lived in England he is wondering where exactly you live because he used some 2 part paint when he was there. He said its called 2 pack or K2 is written on the cans. He lived in Suffolk.
