Exclamation Re: zr1 cooling

Hi OJB and congrats on the ZR-1 score and welcome to the "ZRONERS"....Always nice to have new guys from over the Pond on the board! Here is a link to where some of the English ZR-1 guys hang out.... http://www.corvettechat.co.uk/default.asp

I'll let the guys here who have the bypass comment on your specific questions but don't worry your in great company now and they will calm your fears and help you keep your LT-5 cool and happy!

Again congrats and welcome to the ZR-1 brotherhood!
And we do want to hear any future stories of you kicking a few butts on the autobahn with your ZR-1!

Check out some of these past posts! http://www.zr1netregistry.com/forum/...searchid=27514

I am very scared of air problems in cooling systems since I have a Jaguar V12

Thank you in advance

I have never air bled my car...no problems so far! Please don't put the ZR-1 in the same category as a Jaguar. :-) If your car is overheating...you probably need to remove the radiator and clean out the fins...for starters. Lotta junk gets in there that you CANNOT see while the radiator is in the car. Pull it out and clean it...you will be surprised how much crap is in there. Aftermarket radiator is a good idea too...
