Their past supplier has retired and they've not aggressively sought a new source. They hope to get moving on a solution within a month or two.

Dave, if you like the ones that I have on dad's and my car, they are available from Mid America. I think they are kind of stylish in the fact that the rear ones are contoured in with the bumper before running perpendicular with the ground. They do the job well, and aren't so big that they look like truck mud flaps. These cost $30.

My vote:

Don't get the contoured Altec guards, or as mentioned they will damage your paint and in my opinion alter the looks of the car in a way that I personally find undesirable: like the yellow '94 for sale on this site right now. imho

The ones shown are referred to as "splash guards" on the M.A. site and their part # is 602-264.

Good idea David. I did this too when I bought the Grand Sport. To me they (the deflected look ones) just didn't look like they provided enough coverage when holding them up on the car. Also, they are thicker and look like little triangles in the package because they only bolt on with the lower three/four fender holes.

Still, I like their looks. ....buy both send back what you don't like.
