I had to replace the rubber T on top of the PVC valve with a new one. I did that, started it up, turned over fine, but idled badly and blew some smoke for a few seconds then the SES light came on and then she idled fine with no smoke like normal no bad sounds and at the regular RPM. So I checked the codes again and it was still showing a 33. Disconnected the battery for one minute to clear the code and started it up again and it did the same thing. Anyone got any answers?

first check to see if the map hose is still connected, might have popped off and it will go into limp home and run very rich.

I took my Z to my local Chevy dealership that handles and originally sold ZR-1s. Their most experienced mechanic found a vacum leak underneath so bad he said he sprayed carb cleaner under the engine bay and it almost killed the engine. It is going to be $400 parts and labor. I talked with some of my car guys and they said that sounds about right. I said for them to go ahead and do get it done. Let me know what you all think.
