Thanks for such a warm greeting guys!
From the moment we pulled out of cali I have been having such a blast with this car. The corvette community is quite different from the truck community I have spent most of my collecting time with. With the power wagon I was very used to being the only example of the breed at most shows I went to. Carlisle this year was my first experience with a vette show...........what an eye-opener!

Regarding the car and prep for the trip......I bought her as an 89,000 mile driver quality ride with one fairly good quality repaint. It is certainly no Bloomington Gold car, but it shines great in the sun and handled a 3500 mile trip with nothing more than a full fluid change. It didnt even overheat when we were crossing the Mojave desert with an outside temp of 112!!!! (I have a picture of the outside temp display to prove it!)
Overall, I think I did Ok for the $12,000 I spent on it. What do you guys think?
Thanks again, Dave

Welcome. The registry is a great place for information along with having a ton of great guys as members!

Car looks good and for $12,000 seems like a great start. Now the maddness really begins with the mods!!
