Daddy/Daughter Day at Byron
A day at the Byron drags through the eyes of a newbie, my daughter. Its fun to get a different perspective.

So I thought it would be cool for her to experience it. Something for you guys to think about doing sometime and then they can edit a video for you too. |

Awesome, Dom! I loved every minute of it!
Great that you have a daughter that is adventurous enough to try that. If she didn't get hooked, for sure she will not forget! Have to see if my daughter would like to try that one day. P.

Very nice Dom! Thanks for posting the video. I wish our track would let us take passengers.

Watching the vid, I picked up a couple of points. I hear the motor bog out of the hole. Need to come out at higher rpm. Also I think I let off just before end. Take a look and tell me what you think.

Re: Daddy/Daughter Day at Byron
Yeah but in your defense you did have a guest with you and the extra wieght of another passenger. 114 with another person in the car is moving pretty good. I'll never forget the first time I went to the drag strip with my new fidanza flywheel. I lined up next to this little chinese guy in a Lexus 450.I tried to launch it at the same old 2500 rpms I used to with my duel mass. Wrong! The car bogged down to nothing and then wrapped up to 8k but it was already to late. He was half way down the track. And I thought theres no way in hell that an over priced toyota camry just beat me. The next time we lined up I launched it at 4500 rpms with mickey's on the rear. I beat him in a most spectacular fassion that time. Only bad part is that hard launch cost me a right rear ujoint. Oh well.
