Could any of you help me out regarding this history of this car? I'm looking at a possible purchase.

368 Lingenfelter upgrade (supposedly)
Roll Bar

Doesn't Lingenfelter usually engrave their name on the plenum when they do a conversion? What's the deal with the graphics?

I'm new to this world, but I can tell you lingenfelter doesn't always engrave their name in the plenum. I have a 465 h.p. package on my car, and there is no engraving on mine........

Paul,

Looking to get back into the ZR-1 world, I see!. The answer to your question is that it wasn't till later that Lingenfelter started to engrave their name on the plenum. Before I bought your car, I was looking at a 92 Lingenfelter out of Calif. Take the VIN and call Lingenfelter. They can give you the history of the car. If, in fact, it is a Lingenfelter, they'll have documentation adn they will engrave the plenum if you like.

Looks like the top end has been polished, that's probably why there's no paint in the lettering.

Looks like Motorsport Technology Group WAS a Grand Am Racing team.
