I swapped the 90 Radiator into my 89, I think most of the bolts for that assembly were in the right spot.. but on th ebottom of the car there were a couple brackets in the way if I recall correctly

There is a L98 Z51 chin deflector thats about a 1/2" taller. #074 has the Z51 chin deflector and #004 has the shorter standard deflector. I can see how a L98 standard "wing" will fit #074 but the brackets on #004 (the ones with the 3 holes) are canted in and make the standard "wing" spoiler to wide.

I have continued to clean up the various wheel wells. The flat black paint is everywhere. Some comes off easy other not so much. So far the shocks are the hardest areas to clean:

Driver's side rear wheel well Before:

After:

Passenger Front wheel well before:

Looks good, the parts looks pretty nice under all that crap! My car looks the same under there as yours does, except mine is covered in greasy dirt instead of flat black paint. I need to clean the underside of my Z really good also.

Default More air dam stuff

Well, Last year at the Gathering I took several pictures of #016s air dam (not sure why, but I did!) It appears that #016 has the same "wing" configuration as #074. #004 is still the odd man out:

well I am mired in flat black paint removal. I have probably spent 10 to 12 hours scraping, rubbing, wire brushing, and scouring this awful rattle can black from every nook and cranny of the wheel wells. and I have not even started on the passenger rear yet. The hardest area to get the paint off from is the shocks. The foil delco sticker is very fragile. I cleaned the rear drivers side half shaft and found "P00004" written in marker on it.

#004 is slowly coming around. I hope to have the chassis detailing done this week so I can get it's legs back under her. then on to the dash/gauges/radio detail. The most difficult part is staying focused. ZR-1 A.D.D. is costly to progress. Sorry no pictures with this post but I can only show you the wheel wells so many times before your eyes roll back into your heads. Eric
