Default TAN LUGGAGE STRAPS??

Help. I want to buy a set of the TAN/SADDLE COLOR luggage straps ('91 and older VETTEs) ...new or used. Like these in the following picture, but those are the light biege color. Any help you can offer is appreciated

10135991 is the parts number you need. No dealership shows inventory.

I thought those were to hold the rear wheel and tire if it goes flat?

That's correct. The owners manual explains use of the "luggage straps" in the section covering what to do when/if a flat tire happens.
It also explains the how to use plastic bag that came with the car to put the flat tire in to not get the carpet dirty. Glad my Vettes are not involved in NCRS judging. Things like the luggage straps and plastic bage have such a small point value that very few times will those missing items ever be cause for not gettlng a "Top Flight" score but the cost is out of sight...GOLD?
