Dennis, not sure what happened to the original shots, as there are not even any properties for the pics in the post.
Shot from the back showing the hole for the retainer. I use a pick or just the T-15 bit to poke it out. |

It's pretty much common sense. Like Jeff said just turn the throttle spindle to the open position and if your quick and can pop the cables or cable out of the slot your hand won't be in pain.
It sounds like you just need to disconnect the cables. And if you want a gasket right now and you like doing things the hard way "like me" then you can pay $3.00 for a sheet of Felpro gasket and trace out and cut your own throttle body gasket. |
