Default Ouch!

Every day when I leave work there is this kid who passes me coming the other direction in a brand new shiny black GTO with headers. Nice looking car even though it still looks like a Jap car to me. Anyway 20 min before quiting time it starts thundering and lightening/raining. I thought I heard a loud bamm! but I thought it was just thunder. I walk out front an I look down the street and I see that GTO all up in the ditch on its side facing backwards. He came around that corner a little to fast in the rain. I drove up and stopped and asked him what happened man? He said I don't know. The lighteneing was so bad it hit the power lines three times. Looked like an arc welder sparking off of it. I figured I'd better get my head back in the car for fear of getting zapped in the nogin. To bad. It was a nice looking car.

Well...the kid apparently did not get hurt .

That is about what happened to my 1990 vette less than a year ago....two kids took it for a joy ride without my permission and totaled it. They did not get hurt, I did not carry collision. they had no money

So...what did I do....I bought a 1991 ZR1....got the 1990 for parts and I never looked back

That is why I am now a member of this forum
