Re: One more added.
I took my injector housings to work today and mounted them on an angle plate on the mill and machined the heads off the 8mm torx screws. It took some work to break the gasket seal and a little prying to get the coolant horns off. The screws were so severly corroded that while I was working them back and fourth off the screws there was red powder coming out everywhere. Tomorrow I'll drill the screws out and chase the threads. Then I'm going to have to flycut .02 off the mating faces. The edges got a little dinged up prying them off.

Re: One more added.
Nice that you have the ability to do this work yourself.

Re: One more added.
Considering you have access to all these fabulous machine tools, why don't you set up and bore the plenum & inj hsngs to 36 or 37mm (whatever the finished dia is going to be) about 0.500" deep. That way you don't have to be concerned with keeping the diameter round and properly matched to the mating part. Will also keep the potential for mating surface damage very low since you won't have to do hand port work in that area. Do the hand work deeper & blend to the machined bore. You will end up with perfectly matched ports. While you were set up, you could also mill out the biforcation between the ports & then just smooth out & finish the knife edge in the center.
Would save you a LOT of hand work & will end up with a superb job. Just my 2c worth.

Re: One more added.
That's exactly what I need to know. Otherwise I would need to indicate on each bore. That's 48 bores all together. That print will be a huge time saver. Thanx Jerry.
