Rear Tires 315 vs. 335
Gentlemen:
Does anyone have a compare contrast photo of a ZR-1 w/ 315 vs. 335? I have found I am not not satisfied with the look of the Sumitomos that came on my car and if I can't find a decent 315, I am contemplating purchasing a 335 for the rear. Any problems with this size, ie rubbing, fitment on the standard rim, etc? Thanks in advance for the advice.

No clearance problems mounting 335's on the rear.

Re: Rear Tires 315 vs. 335
I've sen Michelin 335's on the Amolds and they look fine. I've seen no other brands. I am personally going to do the Goodyear GSD-3 in the 315 on mine. I think they look the absolute best, and looks matter to me as well. I've also been disappointed in the Sumitumo. I read somwhere that Khumo is making a 315 in our size. Anyone got a pic?

I've got Michelin 335s on A-molds. No issues at all. As to how they look -

Re: Rear Tires 315 vs. 335
Anyone know the tread depth and wear rating of each? Also, is the 335 a slightly larger overall diameter. I know they are both 17's.

Re: Rear Tires 315 vs. 335
They have the same tread depth, the Goodyear has a slightly higher wear rating. The old Pilots Sports I had lasted a very long time - even with a lot of abuse. I am now using the PS2's but haven't had enough road time to give much of an opinion on them yet. OD is close: 315 is 25.7in, 335 is 26.0in which is a difference of about 1mph at 60mph. So at an indicated 177mph you would actually be doing 180mph - not that I have ever done such a thing
