I just need the orange plastic thingy.
My strut is new replaced it about a month ago.

I don't know what would be a fair price.
I will guess $10 let me know what you think.

The 90-91's have an orange plastic piece on the hood shock lower half.
On the later models it's one piece made into the lower half of the shock housing a better design.

I will even buy that later part if someone has it.

I don't think that the orange thingy comes off it just likes to snap off so Id need to sell you a complete hood strut because its not worth much to me missing the orange release button.

It doesnt, its a replace the whole hood strut assembly process. As stated it comes off when it breaks off. You would probably better off buying another stut Pete although you one you will be replacing is near new.

The lower half of the strut housing comes off the strut.
When you buy a replacement shock it does not come with the lower half housing and locking piece.

Also the plastic piece is just pressed/snaped into the lower housing.

Phrogs i'll take the whole strut if i have to.
Give me a price, shipping will probably not make it worth while.
If you can sell just the lower housing would be better, less shipping.
