Default Code 23 IAT

Threw a code 23 tonight. Not sure what to do from there. Should I pull power to reset or should I look at the IAT? I have the FSM.

John, do you have a scanner? Looks to me without one the trouble shooting has to use a VOM and the conversion chart on the flow chart page.

I would just do something simple to start....check the plug for crud or to make sure it's seated right. Then look for wire damage...if I didn't see any, then it's VOM or scanner time. Long shot guess...pull the IAT and see if there is any crud on the bussiness end???

I assume this set a hard code....it was still there after shut down and a restart?

I will look at the DTC23 chart closely but at first glance it looks like the chart is leaning to some type of a electrical issue rather than a sensor failure as the #1 cause. Gotta go to work. I'll check at lunch.

No scanner, I'll have to do the old fashioned way! Possibly a hard code haven't restarted it, guess I should do that and see. Everything up there looks good so it nothing easy like a loose plug
