'90 blower control module
Today after a ride when I stopped and turned off the car ('90 ZR-1), the AC blower motor continued to run with no effect on it from the control buttons. The only way to turn it off is either to disconnect the battery or pull the plugs on the blower module. That seems to indicate a problem or short within the blower control module necessitating its' replacement. Is there any real difference in the '90-92 modules vs. the '93-96 modules are are they interchangeable? There is a significant price difference between the two.

Re: '90 blower control module
Thanks for that. I found one for 20% the cost of those advertised for a C4, exact same part but there's no "Corvette Tax" on Jeep parts.
I know my module is bad because I tested it and there is a direct short between the terminals for the red and purple wires. |
