You have a rare one and I sold the one I had. Like Karl?s, mine did not have the air scoops so that is cool and a keeper for sure. I didn?t like mine once I changed to SAMCO intake hose and always had problems with alignment but wish I hung onto it. The company is long long gone. Enjoy it!

Sorry Gary just know that are long gone and out of business and that was just one of about 4 different companies ventures in a cold air ram for our cars, the others were the infamous three filter SLP claw, the open air top K&M style and the AO Engineering style that channeled the air through the front license plate filler. The API was always a bottom feeder style.

IMHO you really don't need the instructions. If you want to cut the housing just trace it and take your time cutting as to not damage the air conditioning condenser.

The rest is a standard cut air lid.

I had 1 of these a long time ago, could possibly suck in water if raining, fitment was terrible, ended up covering up the hole in shroud and went with open style frame with K&N, no regrets

For cold air intake I used the 5 in hole from A/O Engineering and made it
rectangle opening thru the front bumper.

stock air filter with open air filter lid

Attachment 19610

stock air filter with lid to connect to opening in front bumper

Attachment 19611

finished cold air box covered in cool tape by DEL

Attachment 19612

With this I have outside air coming off the road straight into the modified
air box.

Any way to reattach these images? The links aren't working properly and I would love to see your finished product.

Thanks!

Here's an idea I have thought about doing....My car has the stock air duct with the typical cut out air lid on the top. I was thinking of possibly cutting the bottom of the intake housing underneath the K&N (slightly smaller than the air filter so it doesn't fall out) and then cutting the shroud underneath open as well... my thought is to not only have air coming in from the top of the open air lid, but underneath it as well. I've never seen this done though.

Am I crazy to think this... or just bored? lol

Jay,
Here's what I did to reduce temp of in coming air to filter. Get some bubble
warp from home depot, Lowe's . Install it between your filter box and the
rad. shroud. cut to fit so no one can see it, that will drop air temp because
you are insulation the air box from the radiator shroud
