Throttle Cable Retainers
I'm working on my 92 Z and was noticing the throttle cable retainers on top of the plenum and was noticing how rusty they they are. Does anyone have a source for them? Jerry doesn't have any. I need a set of two for my 92 and 93 Z's. I don't have anyway to clean them up.

Re: Throttle Cable Retainers
Even a NOS OEM piece, if you can find them, will rust. My suggestion is sand off rust, primer and silver paint. Or, look for a chrome plating shop and see if it can be chrome plated.

Throttle Cable Retainers
If you are NCRS just leave it alone. If not, try cleaning it up with steel wool. I have had great success cleaning many things with the fine steel wool, but it will give it a polished look while taking off the rust. I am not one of the NCRS guys so I have billet and stock in storage.
