I contacted the PO of my 90' car and the fuel pumps have never been changed. I am thinking I should replace them as a preventive measure.
I believe I will use the Delphi FE0039 pumps unless someone knows of a reason why I should not. I wanted to ask if there is anything else you would recommend replacing while I am making the pump swap. Thanks for sharing your wisdom. |

I switched to single pump after I bought the billet Y connector from Carter @ CT Machining. This replaces the brittle plastic Y that will crack and leak in time. You can do a search on the forum for more info. Image1659836988.362480.jpg $75 shipped in US. Sent from my iPhone using ZR-1 Net Registry |

It's nice, easy to install and eliminates most the issues the dual pump design has. If you consider 2 new Delphi pumps, socks, Y adapter, submersible fuel lines and new clamps the difference isn't too big. |

Sorry, I guess you should have been given first dibs as a reply to your inquiry. As mentioned, Carter sells them here or email him at: ctmachining@gmail.com As Matt mentioned I would go with the single fuel pump with stainless housing and all brand new parts. I just assumed you were trying to keep it original. Sent from my iPhone using ZR-1 Net Registry |
