Tachometer wire location
I'm Installing a Raptor shift light in the vent on my 1993 Z. Anyone know where the tach wire location is or what Color the tach wire is or the pin number? Thank you for any help in advance.

Re: Tachometer wire location
Ding, Ding, Ding, The white wire is the answer. Many choices on where you can tap into it. Underneath the dash off the cluster wiring harness or through the firewall at the ECM or at the connector going to the coils. Thanks again for all the help from absolutely nobody. For anyone looking to install a shift light. Here's what I did. I Installed it in the vent to the right of the cluster. Made a small hole inside the vent then ran the wires down and
tapped into everything under the dash. Found a 12V wire with KOEO, grounded on a bracket, taped into the white tach wire in cluster harness. Works like a charm. Screenshot_20220319-090213_Photos.jpg Sent from my SM-N981U using ZR-1 Net Registry mobile app |
