mcich7781 - your car in an ad on Facebook
Not often I see a C4 ZR1 in any type of advertisement, but saw this while scrolling through my facebook feed. Recognized your car from Marc's last BBQ!

Re: mcich7781 - your car in an ad on Facebook
Hagerty took some great pics of my car at that event in June. I hope one in particular makes it into a Hagerty Ad.
HPDE with an experienced instructor is great fun. I will say this was serious car abuse as every part on the car gets challenged. The old Z just took it in stride but not without a couple of concerns. I got a low oil level light (though I checked it full the night before) likely from the thrashing in the tight corners. Typical ride control warning light again likely from that thrashing as well. The one that made me hit the pits in session 3 was a LTPW light. I didn't even know that system was still functioning on my car. On the advice of the instructor I lowered the tire pressures down to about 30 psi before we went out. I borrowed a tire pressure guage that turned out to be about 4 psi off. Important lesson there for me. Keep a high quality accurate tire pressure guage in your car. I did purchase track insurance for the day. The red Miata spun in front of me shortly after this picture. I wasn't expecting that! 21-Track%20Day-Autobahn-TPieper0048.jpg21-Track%20Day-Autobahn-TPieper0082.jpg Sent from my SM-G955U using ZR-1 Net Registry mobile app |
