Marc Haibeck does battery relocations for ZR-1s; he puts them in the compartment behind the passenger seat. He also sell a battery relocation kit with all the necessary cables and other items. Here are the links. --Bob Battery relocation service: http://www.zr1specialist.com/HAT%20W...ry%20reloc.htm Battery relocation kits: http://www.zr1specialist.com/HAT%20W...tion%20kit.htm

Anybody done corner weights after moving the battery from behind the left front wheel to behind the passenger seat?
I'd like to know how much of a change that makes.

The ZR-1 has a 52 - 48% front to rear weight distribution. Relocating the battery will change the bias by 1 point. The revised weight distribution is 51- 49%, the same as a LT1 Corvette. A lightness is noticeable in the steering at low speeds.
