Need tires
I am a new ZR-1 owner and need to replace the 10 year old tires on my car. I have searched around for tires, but am having a hard time finding front and rear that are the same tire model. I will not be drag racing or crazy stuff, just need good tires for cruising and the occasional blast. The only ones I found were Nitto Motiva from Discount tire.

Re: Need tires
The OEM tires, Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 in the correct sizes:
315/35ZR17 275/40ZR17 are occasionally available at TireRack, although they currently do not have them. Seems like Goodyear does limited runs of these. You might try calling TireRack to inquire if they will be back in the near future, or contact your local Goodyear dealer to see if they can source a set. Looking at my receipt, I got mine in 5/2016. Re: Need tires
Last time I tried ordering GSD-3's I was told GY wont be making them anymore in any sizes and are discontinued. I had to go with the Nittos

Re: Need tires
I just posted this on the other forum in case you missed it.
Nittos are definitely popular, fairly priced and get good recommendations. When I had my '95, I switched over to Michelin Pilot Sports and very much liked them. They made our 17" front sizes and a 335 width 17" rear that fit tine. A little pricey but no issues. (Had a set of Sumitomos that couldn't be balanced even with a Road Force due to a considerable deviation from factory specs). Got mine at Costco for about $1,700 installed with warranties back in 2014. Probably more now, assuming they still make them. Good ties and always good to deal with Costco. --Bob

Re: Need tires
Michelin Pilot Sports - 275?s up front and 335?s out back. Smoothest ride and better than the Goodyear?s in the dry.
