Re: 1990 Driver Quality 51,100 miles $14,750
The rear tires in the picture are drag tires that accidentally ended up on this car thru swopping tires between cars. I have never driven on drag tires. Took the car out tonight, wow! Drag tires stick like no other. The front of the car about comes off the ground on hard push. The car was shipped to me from a Phoenix car dealer that didn?t know anything about the car besides injectors were replaced. I?m amazed by the cars power. This car runs so strong I am guessing it may be ported. If not, the Drag tires feel like an extra 50hp per say!
I have only driven the car a couple hundred miles, I will keep you posted as I will drive it daily to be sure it?s right. |

Pictures with matching rims, although not the ones selling with the car. Im getting new tires put in these rims today. I then can swap tires around to get the original rims back on the car.

So then the original wheels that are going back on the car will have 2011 date tires on them at time of the sale? Too many wheels and tires, now I'm all bamboozled.

Update. The original rims pictured here have brand new Nitto NT555R tires and will go with the car. Car will have the correct tires in a few hours when I get back from Discount Tire.

Re: 1990 Driver Quality 51,100 miles $14,750
So after getting new tires on this car, giving it some much needed love, and giving it some exercise, I love this car! I love that some jack *** put a nice looking amateur paint job on it, I love the fact the seat booster is already worn, I love the fact that at 85 mph the cows don't even hear me coming (stock exhaust), I love that the car salesman that sold me the car left the touch up paint in the center council, I love the color of the engine, although I have no Idea of what it has done to it, I love that it goes like the rest of them. So I'm keeping it!
The car is exactly what I wanted it to be. My daily driver. No more cars for sale. I'm SOLD on these cars! Last edited by Zman; 08-20-2020 at 11:55 PM. |
