The pugilist and the dancer
My son was around this last weekend so it was a good opportunity to take the "new" ZR-1 "weekend toy" and my 2016 C7 Stingray "sensible daily driver" out to get some photographs...
It's pretty interesting how these cars, separated by 25 years, are so similar and so different. There is absolutely a strong bloodline connecting the C4 and the C7 ... you can instantly tell that you're in two interpretations of the same idea. It's ironic that the base engine C7 is more capable than the King of the Hill C4, but then on the other hand it is absolutely astonishing how advanced the ZR-1 was for almost 30 years ago. Visually the ZR-1 is lithe and graceful, like a dancer. The C7 is muscular aggression, like a boxer/pugilist. I am blessed to have both. As an immigrant and naturalized citizen, I am forever grateful for the opportunities this country has given me. |

Beautiful.
Put some headers & tune on the old girl and things get lively. Ted |
