I have a sheet of paperwork that shows 4/19/90 build date, #16 that day, 4/20/90 tested, @12:44 pm, Dyno 362hp@ 6430 rpm [2 dynos], 295 ft-lb torque. I don't know for sure where this test was done or by who? I hope and assume it was done at the factory.
Can you post up a copy of the dyno run results?
Sounds a lot like the infamous unobtainable “Dyno sheets”?
Wonder why one’s available for #2066?
Sounds like the original owner got hosed...

I don't have anymore info. to put out their. I don't have anything that looks like an official dyno. sheet. What I have is a sheet of paper with a Sentry Insurance letter head. This paper has neatly printed the info. I listed. Where exactly the sheet came from or who did it, I don't know, its not signed by anyone. It leaves more questions than answers.

Wow....Interesting...70 is a very popular year for the C-3...That was the height of the muscle car era....

That 70 today based on condition and motor size can bring in way more than 22 grand I believe....So another 56 grand on top of the 22 grand.....$ 78,000....I bet he's pissed...Chevy sure did there marketing in 90 to get the prices they did..

Seen a few low mileage C6ZR1's selling for in the 60's by original owner, stickered at $ 121,000..50% loss on that one....
Yes, the 90's when first released were commanding 100k plus! I had connections in SoCal and bought one at sticker. Drove the hell out of it for a couple of years and sold it for less than 30k. Pretty big hit, but it was a lot better than paying 100k+, not driving it, and still getting soaked!

Does this mean some GM guys were playing around with my car in Mesa for a year?
If I remember the sequence, my car was delivered to Mesa as an executive members vehicle, part of the fleet of cars there. The paperwork I received when I purchased the car showed that in 1996 it was sold/auctioned with 10,XXX miles. It supposedly went into a private collection in California, then went into a collection in Wisconsin. In February of 2010 it was auctioned at Barret-Jackson in Scottsdale in conjunction with a 2010 ZR1. I bought it from the guy who won the car at the BJ auction. He really wanted the C6 ZR1 and the '95 was part of the deal. When I bought the car in November of 2011 it had 12,XXX miles and a California title showing that it was first titled in 2010 after the Bj auction. So from 1996-2010 less than 2,000 miles had been put on the car.

The previous owner was very good to deal with, and it even came with the original tires. Funny thing is my '95 was Bright Aqua/Gray interior.

Cool Story! What are the odds that two Bright Aqua/Gray interior cars shared the same unusual beginnings? I think mine was the first 405hp BAM to roll out.. I wonder if yours was one of the last?

I would love to find a little more history about mine. It was brought over to Australia in 2000 and converted to RHD in 2001. Conversion and compliance took over a year.

Shows

In 1995, they made 7 total ZR-1 B/A / gray interior.
In 1993, they made 5 total ZR-1 B/A / gray interior.

The members only area has a ZR-1 by color and some have went through the 1995 and detailed color with VIN number of every ZR-1 made so you can tell which sequence. I think they did it for 1994 too - not sure about 1993 and earlier being the numbers were higher. The option search does not seem to work in the members area, but I'm sure someone out there has the file to share that data. I imagine that was a pretty big task for QB93Z and Aurora40 to compile that data

Your car was charged to the Chevrolet office in T.O. That's where all the Mfg. plated cars in the VIP/Media fleet for L.A. were charged. Also, that car was owned by GM and, thus, would not have been processed though a dealer.

The car was shipped to Mesa because all VIP/Media fleet cars went to the Desert Proving Ground (now defunct) for preparation and testing prior to going into that fleet.

The '95 I once owned did the same duty in Newark NJ for the VIP/Media fleet out of the Chevrolet office in NYC.

Once VIP/Media cars finished their tenure, they were either auctioned or sold to GM executives or VIPs though a dealer as a used vehicle.

In the last couple of years of the C4 ZR1, GM tended to keep the VIP/Media cars in the fleet for a while. Barney, the '95 I had, was built right around Halloween of 1994 but was not sold until mid Nov. 1995. It went out the door at GM with about 17,000 miles.
