LT-5 Emblems
Here's an interesting piece of history from a seller of these emblems who says he worked on the Corvette program in 1988 and the Eng. change to cancel the LT5 emblems in favor of the ZR-1 emblems.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Corvette-ZR...G~w:rk:28:pf:0 Would love to have a set.

Re: LT-5 Emblems
There were both.. GM made them as pictured, but there was a guy that made reproductions probably close to 10 years ago now

Re: LT-5 Emblems
The LT-5 Emblems that match the C-4 ZR-1 Bumper Emblems were not GM products.
Although they were available in most C-4 colors they were privately made reproductions. I actually still have my Ruby one that I purchased. They look great and match the ZR-1 in size, style and font. The only real difference is they had no locating pins on the back. I do not know who actually produced them, but am 99.44% certain that it was not General Motors, nor one of their reproduction affiliates. Marty |

as for the Prototype claim, it could be true as early cars (pre-production) had the LT5 badge

Re: LT-5 Emblems
At $100 a piece to rich for my blood... I think he may have better luck selling them individually to allow people to match their individual car colors..... but what do I know.
