Re: No new FX3 Bilsteins?
Corvette America told me that they are expecting a delivery in early September. That would jibe with what Bilstein told me.

Re: No new FX3 Bilsteins?
Corvette America just contacted me. Bilstein just extended the eta to October 22 for front & rear FX3 shocks.

Part Number Product Description ----------------- ------------------------------------------- BIL 20-070014 Item: B6 Performance Shock Absorber Fits: 1991 Chevrolet CORVETTE ZR-1 BIL 20-070007 Item: B6 Performance Shock Absorber Fits: 1991 Chevrolet CORVETTE ZR-1 My stock shocks bounced a lot in sport mode, plus I was getting a selective ride control error code. I had already tried sending in my actuator to be rebuilt, but they tested it and said it was fine. So, I was hoping that new shocks would fix both issues. Well, it turned out these new shocks bounced as much as the original shocks, so maybe these shocks are just super soft by design? The gears were very stiff to turn by hand whereas the older ones were smooth and didn't require any force to turn by hand. The shop had to put a shim for one of the shocks in order to get the actuator to line up. The selective ride control seems to work for the most part. There's one shock for which the selective ride control light would come on for a few months, turn off for a few months, then on again....still can't figure out why.
