Assuming you are asking about the transmission.. if so, there are a number of brands out there to select from. The ZF transmission uses engine oil, not traditional "gear" oil. I'm running BMW M TwinPower Turbo 10W-60 in mine..

I run Amsoil full synthetic. Yes, it's light weight, 10-30 I think.

I don't see Amsoil distributors for France either but I'd think Amsoil easily sourced from the UK. I believe the Amsoil is the 'NOW GO TO' I wouldn't go out of my way for a Castrol product.

Check this link for information I think quite useful for your location. Maybe I overlooked France but I don't believe so.

Honestly Mobil 1 Gear oil is what I used, 75w-90. Never had an issue
