Default BaT Auction '90 ZR-1

Polo Green Metallic/Saddle
1900 miles
Current bid:$21k
6 days to go...
only downside, besides the most likely & usual,
it's got Sumies on it.
but the original rubber comes with it...
The world must be getting close to the end
of LOW mileage '90 ZR-1s???

Beautiful color combo But I wouldn't say the only downside is the Summies. I love mine for what they are.... a good and quiet road tire. The selection for our cars is thin to say the least and I'm not made of money....

I can't find more than 1 or 2, and I am willing to go into the mid 30's for a very low mile, maintained car.
So yes, they are drying up!
So much for all " the sky is falling" stuff we read nearly every day.
They have been too low too long!

I felt pretty lucky to find my 91 with 12.5k last year. It was high 20s.. then i had to add shipping from across country and a set of new tires before it could be driven. It is extreamly clean, but will still require new injectors sometime down the road. For now i am running the non-ethanol hi test so am limited on where i can go and still find fuel.
There were a couple other cars i looked at with less milage and a higher price. I stretched to get the one i did. But there were quite a few more on the market it seems.I read a piece today on the 95 ZR1s and the writer felt the price may get up to the 80s in a few more years. Maybe we have seen the end to the lows.

I was able to pick my '90 red/saddle up a year ago this month for $18.4k with only 13k miles. Still has the original injectors (for now), so far I have only had to do tires, put on Nitto's, and I have to rebuild the Bose system. Other than that the car is very well preserved, came out of Portland, OR. Feel lucky to not only have one but to have lucked out getting a low mileage one with very few issues so far. This is my 6th Vette, 1st Z and my favorite of all of them.

... must stop checking bring a trailer ...

the seller reports that two lights on the computer display come on intermittently and the seat belt light on the dash stays on while driving.
So even a 2K mile 1990 has the standard sensor corrosion issue ...
