Re: Garage almost done.
I have a small section of my garage where I installed $300 worth of Speedway Tile (8'x13').
It's certainly not as nice as a high quality floor covering, but it did a lot to improve the looks of that area (maybe because the rest of my garage is a wreck), and it's much more pleasant laying on it compared to cement. The white tiles get dirty easily. I clean it by hand every couple of months with a solvent or something, and it looks good again for a while. |

Re: Garage almost done.
I had two companies give me a quote for epoxy coating prior going with a tile floor, but neither one would guarantee that brake fluid would not damage it. Both quotes were over $ 5k. I will do most of my work on my cars in my other building that has a lift but it does not have heat or air and its just a plain cement floor which is find during the summer but not when its cold. By the way I did have a few cracks in the cement that I filled dry with morar mix.

Re: Garage almost done.
The garage looks great Nelson. You are really doing a nice job there. I will be in Florida Christmas to New Years, so I will see you when you get back from Germany. I am standing by to help put the lift together. Let me know when you want to go pick it up.

Re: Garage almost done.
So, I've considered a Racedeck, but was worried that when the wife pulled in with all the salt and sand it would just plug up the deck. Anybody have any experience with this?
