Re: Renovations to the new home for ZR-1
I did all the design and engineering. I did all the lifting, carpentry and repair to the structure were the wall shift damaged the top plate and three of the rafters.
Mike, the mason was a great find. He worked with my plan to restore the building to service. I had gotten estimates in the $10,000 to $12,000 range for the repair. Mike did the wall demolition and rebuild for less than $2,000. I doubt that Lyndi would go for a Battleship gray paint job and she is the decorator. Jim |

WAZOO guys may recognize the hydraulic jaws we use to separate exhaust systems. I used it to pull the separated roof structure into a better position.

Wow I think you saved yourself a ton. Do you have the real estate for a possible tandum forward in the future? I think you might win that argument as a old Navy man. Battleship grey is a fine manly color and the garage is manly domain yeah I said it lol

Sorry GC, Jim's a bubble head.
He's only seen battle ship grey while looking through a periscope.

He is a bubblehead. However as a Navy man he's seen his share of Battleship gray. Probably even chipped a little back in the day
