Chevy definitely suuped that 1990 up, made sure the cam timing was at it's best and probably ported the heads or something bc a 3500lb car with only 375hp i can't see it running 12.8 stock, but if anyone else disagrees please chime in

Maybe John,the 91 was clocked at 13.8 when they tested it the following year...Allthough, like I mentioned earlier,it was tested on a 95 degree humid day when they did the testing.....But a full second?

Similar... My best pure stock 1990 time slip shows 13.1 @ 113 mph, 60' @ 2.2 on GY D3s (launch ≈2200 rpm). I had to feather the gas to get the tires to hook up. With DRs, I might have touched 12.x!

I wouldn't be surprised if Jim didn't get deep into the 12s. Jim said at a BG BBQ that he shifts at 6300 rpm w/o letting up to get the best time. I forgot what he said the time slip said.
