The ZR-1s will be defending the TEAM TROPHY on Saturday!!
Just 6 days away now, and the FBI/ZR1 gang will be defending the team trophy AGAIN! This will be a battle - especially beings that three of the big inch guns will not be attending and Pete's MEAN GREAN MACHINE is still "iffy" to make it on time. SO! It's all hands on deck! If ever we needed the likes of Todd and his 427 Z, Saturday would be a good time to be there to race!!

Kevin's car was up and running a week ago (I was told he turned in a 10.3 sec practice pass, but the harmonic balancer is kaput.) Al's engine isn't together either, and won't be ready by Saturday. So 3 of the 5 low 10s and 11s cars are down. That means Bob and Marc have to carry the water, and at least one of the "little" 510 hp cars are going to need to make a decent (low 12s is likely; 11.x would be better) pass. However, it is the best time run in the morning session that is considered. So, if a driver has a bad pass on one (or more) run(s) - misses a shift or whatever - that run doesn't cost the contests if another run is better. I have been informed by the entertainment director, that we will be tailgating in the bus at St. Joe Missouri for my daughter's senior season this Sat. Wish I could do both guys, but another time.
