Default Electrical connector question

This is one of two connectors for the HVAC fan speed controller (fan resistor). Has anyone been successful in removing pins out of the plastic connector? Hold down clip is broken off and I found a replacement connector but if possible I would prefer to relocate existing pins as opposed to splicing the wires.

That's a Metri-Pack 480 and here's enough information to get you through un-pining it. You don't need a specific release tool, just something that's very similar. Your connector should be 3 populated and 1 plugged I'm quite sure.

Cross-Sectional view is a "tell-all".

If you've bought a 4 pin connector and would like a correct cavity plug let me know.

Hey Dave,

Thanks. Just what I needed. I bought a used controller and it's being sold with both connectors with cut wires.
