Default Annual Father's Day show at Liberty Chevrolet

Just a reminder if anyone is interested AND the weather holds: The annual Father's Day Chevy and Corvette show is this Sunday June 21 at Liberty Chevrolet, 1001 S. Milwaukee Ave., Libertyville IL 60048. 9-3 I believe. I will be there with WARP TEN until about noon then off for a FD lunch with kids. --Bob

Hi Paul--
Weather was great. About 150-200 cars my guess, both Chevy's and Corvettes. Probably more Corvettes. I took these pix early in the morning; it filled in a bit more later. Also for some reason they had about a dozen Vettes in the back lot with "Display Only" signs on them. Don't know why they wouldn't put them all in the same place. Oh well, a fun day. Got a trophy for winning the C4 class again, but I was the only ZR-1 there.
As a side note, next year's show will not be held at Libertyville Chevrolet, as they have sold off the back lot to an expanding nearby hospital and no longer will be able to accommodate all the cars and their own inventory, too. The organizers (North Shore Corvette Club) are trying to get it over to an area in Lake Forest formerly utilized by an AACA show, but no word yet on exactly where it will be then. -Bob
